Recent footage of Diddy's arrest shows him being led in handcuffs
The Bad Boy Records owner — wearing a black trench coat — was seen in the video from his detention on September 16 and was spotted entering the Park Hyatt New York in midtown Manhattan's lobby with a big group of people.
Later in the video, Diddy could be seen being led down a hallway and into an elevator while having his hands held behind his back. Later, the footage showed him being led out of the hotel lobby and onto the street.
According to his attorney, the indictment occurred on Monday, September 16, at the Park Hyatt New York, where Diddy had been residing for over a week after coming to the city in order to "surrender" to the police, per USA Today.

A bond package worth $50 million that Diddy's attorneys arranged stated that the rapper entered New York of his own free will since he was aware that he would soon be arrested, per E! News.
The statement read: "When it became apparent to his counsel that Mr. Combs would at some point soon be formally charged, he did something extraordinary. He left his home in Miami and traveled to New York, the very location of the prosecutors and agents investigating him."
The letter also stated that Diddy had given his attorney possession of his passports, along with those of his daughters and his mother.
However, a New York City judge rejected the bail arrangement after the Bad Boys Entertainment founder entered a not-guilty plea to the charges against him during a hearing on September 17.
Internet users assert Diddy 'will never see outside again'
Following the release of Diddy's recent arrest footage from the New York City hotel, social media users took to X (formerly Twitter) to express how the entire incident was a "serendipitous" occurrence.
One X user wrote, "He dragged somebody down a hallway of a hotel now getting arrested in a hotel. Very serendipitous"
A second user added, "Diddy had no idea that day would be his final one living in the lap of luxury. He will never see outside again."
"Those might be his last few steps as a free man for the next 25 years," chimed in a third user.
Another remarked, "He didn't know he was gonna get caught. He thought he was fooling the judge by saying he was "cooperating" by agreeing to the arrest"
