Samantha Harris was first diagnosed with cancer a decade ago
Meanwhile, an earlier report said that Harris went for tests in 2014 all based on her gut feeling when she was first diagnosed with cancer.
At the time, she told ABC News' Amy Robach, “It took me four months to go, 'This doesn't sit right with me.’ Four months later, when I went to see my specialist, I had a needle biopsy, after two ultrasounds, and I had an MRI right before we scheduled a lumpectomy.”
“Even the pathology they do in the operating room said no cancer, so I came out and my husband, right next to me, said, 'Babe, you're all clear.’ I didn't even take him to the follow-up because I thought I didn't have cancer,” she added.
