'We all love you': Heartbroken Warwick Davis worries fans as he posts 'I'm done here, signing off' after wife Samantha's death
LONDON, UK: Heartbroken 'Harry Potter' star Warwick Davis raised concerns among fans after he shared late night online post that read, "I'm done here, Signing off," followed by a broken heart symbol.
The post was made following the death of his beloved wife Samantha in March.
Samantha, a 53-year-old actress who first met her husband in 1988 while appearing in his film 'Willow' as an uncredited character, died unexpectedly on March 24, 2024.
Warwick Davis' children reassure fans that he is just taking time off social media
Following an outpouring of concerned messages from fans after his post, Davis' children Harrison, 21, and Annabelle, 27, reassured them that the actor is just taking time off from social media. He said, "Thank you everyone for looking out for our Dad, he is taking some time away from social media."
"He apologizes if his last message caused anyone concern. We appreciate all of your love and support, Annabelle and Harrison x," they added.
The couple was seen smiling in a playful selfie while out on a date night in their last picture.

Five years before Samantha's death, Davis remained vigilant by her hospital bedside while she battled sepsis for her life.
Although the couple, who had been married for almost 30 years, had experienced hardships in the past, including the loss of two children, Davis was unprepared for this.
As their family prepared for a caravan vacation in 2019, Samantha developed an unexpected illness that she attributed to stress.
Doctors informed her husband that she had sepsis, a rare infection when the body's immune system attacks its own tissues and organs. Within days, she was on the verge of death, the Daily Mail reported.
Davis was tormented by the idea of losing his "soul mate" and while she fought very hard to recover, he later acknowledged that they continued to feel the effects of it because they no longer wanted to "take life for granted."
