'We are a perfect team': Bam Margera confirms engagement to Dannii Marie after six months of dating

PENNSYLVANIA: Bam Margera, known for his role in 'Jackass' and his struggles with addiction, has exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that he is engaged to Dannii Marie after six months of dating.

The 44-year-old actor and stunt performer shared that he proposed in October, emphasizing the positive impact Marie has had on his life.

Margera spoke to Us Weekly on December 20, highlighting the transformative effect of Marie's presence. “We’re just a really good team, I never had structure before. I always woke up not knowing what to do with the day … I would just look across the street, see an Irish pub and be like, ‘That looks like fun,'" he stated.

Margera, who has battled addiction for years, revealed that Marie played a crucial role in his journey to sobriety. Having entered his life in June, Marie helped him become sober two months later. Margera described the positive changes in his routine, saying, “Now I wake up, I walk the dogs, I stretch, I go to the gym, I go skateboarding. Everything’s a structured fun schedule. And we do it together, and it’s just a perfect thing.”

Expressing his admiration for Marie, Margera shared, “She’s everything I’ve ever asked for — I couldn’t ask for anything more. We are a perfect team.”

Margera and Dannii Marie: Relationship milestones

Margera and Marie's relationship became public in July when the actor started featuring Marie on his Instagram pages. A notable moment was captured on July 4 when Margera posted a picture with Marie in a grocery store via his @bam_margera account. Later that month, the couple attended the X Games, sharing snapshots from the event on Margera's @captaincremebrulee profile.

In September, Margera shared a significant update, revealing his journey to sobriety. In an Instagram post, he credited Marie for one month of sobriety, expressing gratitude to her and a close circle of supportive friends.

“Thanks to @danniimarieofficial for one month of sobriety and getting me happy, healthy and fit as well as the small circle of friends that have supported us,” he wrote via Instagram at the time.

Marie shed light on their strong bond, describing how Margera went through detox while they stayed together in a crystal-infested pool house.

“He went through detox and I didn’t go anywhere,” Marie told Us of their strong bond. “We stayed in this beautiful crystal infested pool house where we just healed, all of us, and we shut the phones off. He didn’t have a phone. I changed his number and we just X’d the bad people and here we are.”

To celebrate Margera's birthday later that month, Marie posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing admiration for the actor's unique soul and the special connection they share.

“Happy Birthday to this amazing, one-of-a-kind soul,” she wrote on September 28. “Words cannot express the connection and the bond we share. Keep after your goals and your eyes on the future. I am beyond proud of you, and I love being by your side."
