'We believe in justice': Jerry Seinfeld extends support to Israeli hostages by visiting their families
TEL AVIV, ISRAEL: Jerry Seinfeld is extending his support to the families of Israeli hostages by visiting them during these hard times.
As per multiple media reports, the comedian and actor visited the headquarters of the Hostages and Missing Families Forum in Tel Aviv.

'Emotional' meeting for Jerry Seinfeld
Israeli newspaper Haaretz mentioned that the actor had an ‘emotional’ meeting with a group of families during his visit. “[Seinfeld] told the families that he feels a deep commitment to raising awareness around the world about the issue of the hostages whose lives are in immediate danger,” it said, before adding Seinfeld’s family was “very moved, and it was evident that they were deeply affected by the experiences they heard from the family members and the released hostages.”
The organization, in a statement, showed their admiration for his gesture. “We thank the Seinfeld family for their moving visit to the families’ headquarters and their unwavering support for the families of the hostages," the statement read.
“We are confident that their support will be a significant and important step in our shared mission to bring about the immediate and safe return home of all the hostages," it added.

Jerry Seinfeld with Israeli hostages' families
Channel 13 reported that Seinfeld's visit to Israel was significant and he extended his stay by at least two hours. Meanwhile, the Times of Israel mentioned that Seinfeld met with the families of Israeli hostages held in the Gaza Strip and of those who were released earlier.
Some of the other notable personalities from Hollywood who have visited the Israeli state are comedian and actor Michael Rapaport and director Quentin Tarantino, including music producer Scooter Braun who is also currently on the visit to the country, as per The Hollywood Reporter.
Other stars who signed an open letter in support of Israel include Jamie Lee Curtis, Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Michael Douglas, Liev Schreiber, Amy Schumer, Debra Messing, and Mayim Bialik.
Seinfeld has stood for Israel amid the Hamas war. He also posted a message on Instagram in October that read, "I lived and worked on a Kibbutz in Israel when I was 16 and I have loved our Jewish homeland ever since. My heart is breaking from these attacks and atrocities."
He further wrote, "But we are also a very strong people in our hearts and minds. We believe in justice, freedom, and equality. We survive and flourish no matter what. I will always stand with Israel and the Jewish people."
