Former 'GMA' host TJ Holmes reflects on 'sacrifices' he made to be with Amy Robach during their podcast
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On the January 9 episode of 'Amy & TJ,' the podcast hosted by former GMA stars Amy Robach and TJ Holmes, TJ expressed that he had to make "so many sacrifices" to be with his partner.
The couple was joined by OkCupid's global head of communications, Michael Kaye, on the episode during which they did a deep dive into their relationship, taking a compatibility test, talking about their struggles, as well spilling the beans on bedroom secrets, reported by The US Sun.
How compatible are Amy Robach and TJ Holmes?
Kaye disclosed that the compatibility test they underwent to assess their suitability for a relationship yielded a score of 84%, a result he characterized as "really high."
Upon receiving their result, Amy, aged 50, and TJ, aged 46, candidly discussed some of the challenges they faced in the initial stages of their relationship.
"Robach and I have been through a lot together over the past year, year and a half plus," shared Holmes. "We've had moments throughout that time that were very difficult to where we - there's so much on the line for us and there has been."
"And for us to be together took so much and there was so much sacrifice. And you're going into this commitment," he continued.

The fearful notion emerged for him after the couple had a fight.
"It was a disagreement, a fight, we had that was really based on a fear and a lack of communication where we thought, 'Wow. We went through all of this. And did all of this and maybe we're not compatible or maybe we missed something,'" exclaimed Holmes.
He did admit that they were "freaking out a little bit" to hear the results of their test.
Robach later revealed that it marked their first argument. Given their strong alignment in thinking, the incident raised concerns for her, making her question if she truly knew Holmes as well as she believed.
"'I thought I knew this person. I don't know this person.' That can happen," she claimed.
Everything is "not so black and white" when it comes to relationships, said Holmes in conclusion to the segment.
