LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: George Clooney is all in for the new edition of ‘Ocean’s’ franchise. The Oscar-winner actor, in his recent interview, was asked about it while he promoted his flick ‘The Boys in the Boat.’

Clooney confirmed that there’s an interesting script out there which could potentially bring the A-stars of Hollywood town once again together.

“We have a really good script for another ‘Ocean’s’ now, so we may end up doing another one. It’s actually a great script,” Clooney told Uproxx.

George Clooney doesn't want to call it 'Ocean's 14'

When the outlet asked if it could be the script for a potential ‘Ocean’s 14,’ the actor answered, “Well… I don’t want to call it that… I mean, the idea is kind of like ‘Going in Style.'”

His statement was in reference to the 1979 heist comedy of Martin Brest featuring Art Carney, Lee Strasberg, George Burns, and Charles Hallahan, as per Variety

In 2017, a remake was made by Zach Braff which had Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin. The flick was about three senior citizens pulling off a heist.

It is reported that Warner Bros has come forward to produce the movie which will be a prequel and Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling can be signed for the project based on a storyline in 60s Europe.

“I can’t really say much. But I think we’re just trying to do right by the franchise. I’m excited for people to experience it when it’s ready,” said producer Josey McNamara on Games Radar.

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling's reunion

The lead actors for the prequel can likely play the parents of Clooney’s character, Danny Ocean. Clooney, who is also the director of ‘The Boys in the Boat' told Variety, “Margot Robbie’s my mother? I’ve always thought that. And Ryan Gosling is my father, and when you think about it, it makes sense. Truly.”

Clooney told in a separate interview that he is considering cutting down on work. “I probably won’t be directing much anymore because I’m 62 and I got young kids and it takes a year and a half or two years to direct. And you’d be on the road too much, so I’m not sure I’ll be doing that much more, but I like it all.”
