'We were just being kids': That time when Matt Damon visited Dylan and Cole Sprouse and got ignored
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The Suite Life of Zach and Cody’ stars Dylan and Cole Sprouse opened up about the time they snubbed Matt Damon.
During an appearance on an episode of SiriusXM’s ‘Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa,’ the two recalled the moment when they couldn’t take their eyes off video games.
Dylan and Cole Sprouse ignored Matt Damon for video games
Matt Damon and his family were fans of their show, and an assistant announced that ‘The Martian’ star would be dropping by the set.
Cole Sprouse told the host, "I remember Dylan and I turning to each other and just going, 'Ugh. I can't believe we have to get off a World of Warcraft right now.'"
The twin brothers who were just 15 back then, added that Matt did come to their room with a knock, and though every crew member noticed them coming, and stood wherever they were, Cole and Dylan couldn’t care less.
"This was how ridiculous we were as children," Cole revealed. "I think he came in and was like, 'Hey guys. Wow, so nice to meet you,' and we were like, 'Yeah, yeah. Hey man. Hey, how you doing?' and just went right back to the game."
"We were just being kids and playing video games, and I'm sure if I ever meet Matt Damon again, I'm just gonna say 'I'm sorry' and it'll be all good."

“Having an identical twin next to me going through the same exact experiences in a very similar way with a very similar point of view is therapeutic, Cole told Variety.
“When you’re a child actor you’re a minor, and so, a lot of the larger business decisions that are controlling your career are done outside of your own agency," he added.
“One of the dangers of, at least, my position, which was a sitcom inside of a sound stage for nine years with Disney Channel, you’re raised in such an insular environment that you forget what real human experience or boots on the ground actually looks like,” said Cole.
