'Weird but beautiful': Kate Hudson claims she had 'sixth sense' as a child and saw ghosts 'all the time'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Being in tune with the paranormal, Kate Hudson has stated that she saw ghosts "all the time" when she was younger, comparing her childhood skills to the 'Sixth Sense'.

The 'Almost Famous' star, 45, revealed that it used to be a "wild" experience when questioned about her psychic abilities during a recent interview on SiriusXM's 'Howard Stern Show' on Tuesday, May 7.

Host Howard Stern questioned the 'How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days' actress, "You and your mother [Goldie Hawn] can see dead people, right?" To which Hudson responded, "I can see everything."

When Stern asked if Hudson could see the ghost of his late father, Hudson burst out laughing and explained her psychic capabilities.

"It’s not like that. It’s like, you get these sort of messages. … When I was a little girl, it was actually quite wild because I would see ghosts all the time," Hudson said.

She continued: "I was a little bit like The Sixth Sense. Like, ‘I see dead people'. It was a little bit like that when I was younger," per Us Weekly.

Hudson was then requested to provide 70-year-old Stern "some hope" over what awaits him in the afterlife.

He chuckled, "I’m pretty close to the end. When I go, I’m going somewhere? In other words, you have firsthand knowledge that this is not the end of the road for me?"

Although Hudson could not provide Stern with a conclusive response, she expressed her belief that the afterlife is currently "probably more scientific than we all even know."

She remarked, "I think it’s very multidimensional. We think we should be all-knowing, but we’re not. We’ll see it when we get there, but I think it’s going to be f***ing weird — but beautiful!"

Hudson has been open about her experiences interacting with the paranormal. She claimed to have seen "the ghost of a woman with no face" during an appearance on the 'Chatty Man' show in 2014, per E! News.

Speaking to Alan Carr on his 'Chatty Man' program, Hudson admitted at the time that she and her mom Goldie Hawn could detect a "fifth energy."

"Me and my mum Goldie can see dead people. It is not really seeing, it is feeling a spirit. A fifth energy. I believe in energy. I believe our brains can manifest into visual things," Hudson explained.

Fortunately, the mother-of-two has a handy trick to drive scary ghosts away: "When you see something, you are supposed to tell the energy what year it is and that they don’t belong there."

"When your brain is freaking out on you, you may have to remind it. Why is it being dead funny?" Hudson added.

In addition, Hudson disclosed to the TV host that she has had the unfortunate experience of witnessing the ghost of a faceless woman. She said, "That was really creepy."
