LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Wendy Williams has appeared publicly after being out of the limelight for over a new year.

The media personality is believed to be suffering from health as well as legal issues that took her away from the public’s eyes. Even her last Instagram post is from September 2022.

Wendy Williams shares her childhood dream

However, a now-deleted trailer of her new Lifetime documentary, which will air on Lifetime on February 24 and 25, showed that she’s still not in good condition yet, The Sun reported.

In the trailer, Williams said, “Since I was six years old, all I wanted was to be famous,” as footage of her glorifying days was played before her downfall.

The clip also included the 59-year-old broadcaster’s son Kevin Hunter Jr’s statements, like Williams has “done a really good job at making it seem like everything's OK but in reality, there's something wrong going on.”

Wendy Williams claims to be broke

Elsewhere in the documentary’s trailer, a family member of hers was shown who told the camera, “She was put in front of a judge and given a guardian. That was when they took her away from us.”

Williams then shared, “I have no money. And let me tell you something, if it happens to me, it can happen to you.”

A scene in the trailer showed ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ host with her niece Alex Finnie, who told her there have been "random people around."

The writer then replied, “Stealing money from me.”

‘She needs to get the help’

Several people took to Facebook to share their views on Williams’ current status.

“Wendy pray you did so many nice things you will be fine,” a supporter of her commented.

Another supporter wrote, “So sorry she’s worked all her life & nothing to show.”

One fan asked, “What happened to all your money?”

Referring to Williams’ second husband Kevin Hunter, who was reportedly unfaithful toward her in their marriage, a follower stated, “She needs to get the help she needs to stay away from her ex-husband.”

A person wrote, “A career of raggin' on everyone else has come full circle. ‘Karama be a Bitch, and she be a cold one at that.’”

“She has plenty of money, they just won’t let her have it, cause she’s nuts 🥜,” another one added.

Wendy Williams said, ‘I am formerly retired’

The trailer came a year after in February 2023, Williams’ publicist Shawn Zanotti told PEOPLE, “Wendy is living a healthy, holistic lifestyle. [She] regularly attends the gym and is focused on her overall wellness at this time... travel is a part of her enjoyment.”

Just a few days before Zanotti’s comments, Williams was spotted at a Petco.

At the time, she reportedly shared, “I'm shopping for kitty litter because I have a wax museum in Paris and one in California. I'm going for a week in Paris and then three weeks in California and then immediately fly back.”

Williams also added, “And then I want to be on TV, stuff like Seth Meyers, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, The View, stuff like that. I am formerly retired.”
