The achievement marked a milestone, as he took extra time to graduate while caring for his mother during her health struggles.

Williams was spotted dressed in a sparkly low-cut dress, black boots, and a prominent “W” necklace, and was seen riding a motorized scooter alongside her family, including her 93-year-old father, Thomas Williams Sr.
Wendy Williams' public appearance despite health struggles
Diagnosed with aphasia and dementia in May 2023, Wendy Williams also faces issues related to Graves' disease, lymphedema, and financial strain.
Her talk show was canceled in June 2022, adding to her difficulties.
Williams’ dementia battle became public in February 2024, shortly before the Lifetime documentary 'Where is Wendy Williams?' aired.
Last month her guardian revealed she "has been afflicted by early-onset dementia and, as a result, has become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated," TMZ reported.
Sabrina Morrissey, her court-appointed guardian, alleged in a legal filing that the documentary was filmed and released without a valid contract or her consent.
Morrissey stated that Williams was in a “highly vulnerable” state, making her incapable of providing informed consent.
"I continue to need personal space and peace to thrive," Williams said in a statement to People at the time. "Please just know that your positivity and encouragement are deeply appreciated," she added.
The family, including Kevin Hunter Jr, reportedly learned of her diagnosis only after it was announced publicly.
