PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Former president Donald Trump caused a stir on the final night of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) by unleashing a live tirade on Truth Social while Vice President Kamala Harris was delivering her Democratic presidential nomination acceptance speech.

Addressing the crowd at the United Center in Chicago on Thursday, August 22, Harris accepted the party's official nomination a month after she entered the 2024 presidential race after President Joe Biden's historic withdrawal.

Trump took to Truth Social to blast the Vice President during her nearly half-hour speech. He started his tirade by criticizing Harris' repeated "Thank yous" in response to the three-minute-long standing ovation she received at the event.

"Too many 'Thank yous,' too rapidly said, what's going on with her?" he wrote. In another post, he mentioned President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, asking, "WHERE'S HUNTER?"

Donald Trump mentions Tim Walz's coaching career and Kamala Harris' childhood in rant

Donald Trump continued his Truth Social diatribe and did not leave out Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz. He questioned why the Minnesota governor was called "coach" when he was a high school football team's assistant coach.

"Walz was an ASSISTANT Coach, not a COACH," he wrote.

As the vice president spoke about her parents and her aspirations to be a lawyer at the start of her speech, the former president called her out, remarking, "A lot of talk about childhood, we've got to get to the Border, Inflation, and Crime!"

Since her eleventh-hour entry into the presidential race, the vice president, the second woman to compete against Trump after Hillary Clinton, has put forth a tough competition against the real estate mogul in polls and funding.

Speaking at the DNC, the Democratic presidential nominee pledged to become the "president for all Americans" who would put the country over the party, Newsweek reported.

Donald Trump slams Kamala Harris for criticizing Roe v Wade

Donald Trump later added that Kamala Harris talked about the "Rule of Law" but in her role as "Border Czar", she allowed the entry of 20 million people into the US, including criminals who were killing Americans.

In her acceptance speech, Harris held Trump responsible for the failed bipartisan border bill that the Senate Republicans thwarted. She accused him of pressuring the Congressional allies to kill the bill because it would negatively affect his campaign.

In response to this, Trump asked, "Why didn't she do something about the things of which she complains?"

"She said, 'Chart a new way forward,' but she's had three and a half years, and has done nothing but HARM!" he wrote in another post.

She further blamed the MAGA spearhead for the US Supreme Court's 2020 decision to overturn Roe v Wade, which upended the federal protection for abortion. Trump, on multiple instances, has boasted about his role in its overturning.

His appointment of three conservative justices to the SCOTUS during his presidency was the primary reason behind the revocation of Roe v Wade. Harris claimed that the ex-president's "hand-picked members" of the top court ended reproductive freedom.

Trump hit back at the criticism, writing, "Everybody, Democrats, Republicans, Liberals, and Conservatives, wanted Roe v. Wade TERMINATED, and brought back to the States."

"Too many thank yous is an insane thing to say," one social media user said.

"Hahaha I knew he was gonna make some pathetic comment about too many thank-yous. Who would guess he would be flummoxed by gratitude?" asked remarked.

"He's sitting alone in his bedroom, smartphone in one hand, a Big Mac in other, special sauce dribbling down his chin, screaming at the TV," added one person.

"He’s truly gone off the deep end," another responded.

"Thank You for taking the time to watch Mr. trump. We're glad you're here. Now, shush up and watch, adults are speaking," someone else chimed in.

"He’s a crybaby, just like his people..," an individual said.

"Go to bed, Donald. This is not good for your heart," another added.

"'Too many thank yous' when is that bad? Where Hunter? Poor old Donald still trying to go back to his old fights. I am surprised he didnt demand Joe come back," read one response.
