White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles likens Trump's personality to that of ‘an alcoholic’
WASHINGTON, DC: White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles' interview with Vanity Fair was published on Tuesday, December 16.
Susie Wiles offered her perspective on many significant members of the Trump administration, including the president himself. While describing him, Wiles claimed that he had “an alcoholic’s personality.”
Susie Wiles says Trump believes there’s 'nothing' he can’t do
The Chief of Staff alleged that for high-functioning alcoholics, their personalities get exaggerated when they drink.
She called herself an expert on the topic and on “big personalities.” As she explained, Wiles opened up about her childhood and her father’s struggles with the same.
She said that alcoholism did bad things to relationships, and that was how it was for her and her father.
She explained that Donald Trump had an “alcoholic’s personality” because he operated with a view that “there’s nothing he can’t do.”
“Nothing, zero, nothing,” she added.
Susie Wiles recalled her relationship with Donald Trump over the years, including his berating her publicly in 2016.
Wiles called the night “a horrific” time and said she didn’t think she had seen Trump that angry ever again. She recalled that he was “ranting and raving” and she didn’t know whether to argue back or be “stoic.”
"What I really wanted to do was cry,” she said.
Wiles revealed that at the time, she told Trump that if he wanted someone to “set their hair on fire and be crazy,” she was not that person. She added that if he wanted to win Florida, she would leave the choice with him.
“Lo and behold, he called me every day,” she added.
The article published early this morning is a disingenuously framed hit piece on me and the finest President, White House staff, and Cabinet in history.

Susie Wiles says the Vanity Fair article was ‘disingenuously framed’
The chief of staff slammed Vanity Fair on Tuesday on X. She wrote that the article published was a “disingenuously framed hit piece” on her and the Trump administration.
She revealed that “significant context” was disregarded and much of what she said was “left out of the story.”
She praised the White House, noting that it had achieved more in 11 months than any other president had in “eight years” and credited it to the “unmatched leadership and vision” of Donald Trump.
“None of this will stop our relentless pursuit of Making America Great Again!” the post concluded.
