WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump, during a recent event, spotlighted White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, calling her the most powerful woman in the world and praising her influence in unusually grand terms.

His latest remark adds to a steady pattern of public admiration he has shown for her throughout the year, repeatedly elevating her as a dominant figure.

Trump hails Susie Wiles as 'most powerful woman in the world'

Trump, on Wednesday, November 19, while speaking at the US-Saudi Investment Forum 2025, took a moment to praise Susie Wiles. “I believe in her hundred percent,” he said.

He went on to say, "Most powerful woman in the world. She can take out a country, destroy, take out a country with one phone call. That’s power. I don’t know if I could do that, but she could.”

The remark drew applause from the crowd.

“Thank you, Susie,” he added. He then joked by asking her, as she sat in the audience, “You feel good about the job you’re doing?”

Trump repeatedly hails Susie Wiles' power and influence

But this is not the first time the president has praised the Chief of Staff. Earlier in July, he made a similar remark about her while speaking at an AI summit at the White House.

Trump first boasted that Wiles “can take out a country with a mere phone call.” He then added, “Now, they just voted her the most powerful woman anywhere in the world. She might be the most powerful person in the world, I think. Hasn’t she done a good job?”

Trump’s “powerful woman” line is almost identical to his description of Wiles that he used at the Summer Soiree at the White House on June 4. Back then, Trump said, “I want to thank the great chief of staff, the most powerful woman anywhere in the world, they say.”

He added, “I was going to say one phone call and a country is wiped out, but we’re not going to say that because we’re a peace-loving nation.”

In March this year, he also hailed Wiles as the “most powerful woman in the world” at a Women’s History Month celebration at the White House. He repeated the claim during a White House cabinet meeting in May, saying, “Susie, the most powerful woman in the world, they say,” and adding, “I agree with that.”

Susie Wiles: The first female Chief of Staff

Wiles, 67, is the first female Chief of Staff in US history. She was promoted from director of Trump’s 2016 campaign in Florida to senior adviser for his 2024 election bid.

Last December, Forbes ranked Wiles at No. 72 on its list of the World’s Most Powerful Women. Earlier in her career, she worked in Ronald Reagan's 1980 presidential campaign in his scheduling office, as well as in the White House Office of Scheduling and Advance.
