WASHINGTON, DC: The White House sparked a social media frenzy on Thursday, July 10, by sharing a digitally altered image of President Donald Trump dressed as Superman.

The post, released just before the US premiere of a new 'Superman' film, aimed to present Trump as a "symbol of hope." The image quickly went viral, with supporters embracing the superhero depiction while critics mocked and condemned it, igniting a heated debate online.

Notably, the post came just days after MAGA critics slammed the upcoming 'Superman' reboot as “woke.”

In the image, Trump wears Superman’s signature red, blue, and yellow colors. He strikes a dramatic, heroic pose with his hands pulled back to emphasize his bold chest, his face angled proudly upward.

His posture projects confidence and dominance, mimicking classic Superman imagery. The background includes bold text reading “Truth, Justice and The American Way,” with the word “SUPERMAN” stamped across the bottom in capital letters.

The White House released the image just ahead of the premiere of director James Gunn’s new 'Superman' film, set to hit theaters on Friday.

Produced by DC Studios and distributed by Warner Bros Pictures, the film stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent, with Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, and Isabela Merced in key roles. This marks the second reboot of the 'Superman' film series and reintroduces the iconic DC Comics superhero for a new era.
