WASHINGTON, DC: It’s no secret that Donald Trump loves McDonald’s, but his White House took it to the next level ahead of his big speech to Congress on Tuesday, March 4.

While the president was preparing to address the nation, a massive delivery of McDonald’s arrived at the White House—complete with burgers, fries, and chicken McNuggets enough to feed an army.

White House McFeast goes viral

Kaelan Dorr, the deputy assistant to the president and White House deputy communications director, wasted no time sharing the fast-food frenzy with the world, the Daily Beast reported.

Posting a photo of a desk absolutely covered in McDonald’s items, he wrote, “White House Comms is pre-gaming the Joint Session the MAGA way. Buckle up for Must See TV!”

Critics on social media immediately mocked Trump and his team for opting for greasy burgers over a more nutritious meal, with many pointing out the irony of a party that once touted “Make America Healthy Again.”

As the McDonald’s spread went viral, many couldn’t help but poke fun at the situation—especially when considering Trump’s health-conscious Secretary of Health Robert F Kennedy Jr and his disdain for McDonald's.

"So is Trump just trolling @RFKJr_Official with all the McDonalds?" one social media user posted on X.

"This is hidden in the back where RFK can’t see it!" another quipped.

"Oh yes!!!!!! Keep eating them and add big fries !! Trump eat them all and let them do the job for america!!!! Lmao praying!!" read a comment.

"MAHA is alive in the White House!!!" someone else chimed in.

"McDonald’s really should offer a limited time specialty burger called the McYuuuge," another joked.

One person post on X, "Damn, McDonald’s couldn’t even fill the fries to the top?? Skimming on everyone, even the White House," while another wrote, "Obviously @RobertKennedyJr

didn't order the catering."

One individual commented, "Not the MAHA way," while another asked, "When he says “Make America Healthy Again” can I boo or should I just laugh to myself?"

One person simply questioned, "Where Bobby when you need him?" while another stated, "Don’t let RFK Jr see this."

It's worth noting that the 78-year-old president has frequented the fast-food joint for years, and he even made RFK Jr sit down for a McDonald’s meal alongside Elon Musk on the president’s private plane.

RFK Jr, however, did not look so thrilled in a now-viral picture.

Donald Trump vs Kamala Harris: The McDonald's feud

This isn’t the first time McDonald’s has been at the center of Trumpian politics. During the 2024 campaign, he used it as a weapon against his opponent, then-vice president Kamala Harris, mocking her for claiming she worked at the chain as a teenager.

“I love McDonald’s,” Trump declared at a campaign stop last year. “I like to see good jobs, and I think it’s inappropriate when somebody puts down all over the place that she worked at McDonald’s.”

Harris had claimed she worked the register, the fry station, and the ice cream machine at a McDonald’s in Alameda, California, during the summer of 1983. But Trump was not buying it.

“She’s a liar,” he repeatedly said on the campaign trail. And he didn’t stop there.

During a stop at a McDonald’s in suburban Philadelphia last October, Trump stepped behind the counter to work the fry station.

Ditching his suit jacket for a yellow-lined apron, he dunked baskets of fries in oil, salted them, and handed them out through the drive-thru window—with the well-known germaphobe pointing out that he loved how “it never touches the human hand.”

He later quipped, “I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala.”

Donald Trump is the ultimate McDonald’s superfan

Donald Trump’s fascination with McDonald’s has been a defining part of his brand for years. His son, Donald Trump Jr, even bragged about it on Fox News. “My father knows the McDonald’s menu much better than Kamala Harris ever did," he insisted.

And that's probably true. In early 2023, Trump himself said almost the same thing to McDonald’s staffers in East Palestine, Ohio, where he visited frontline responders after a devastating train derailment.

“I know this menu better than you do,” he told the workers—before buying meals for everyone in sight, Time reported.
