Internet reacts to Kanye West's 40-minute 'rambling' apology video

Social media users did not waste time and took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to mock the singer over his yet-to-release apology video regarding his previous antisemitic remarks.

One X user wrote, "I wonder how many retakes did he do," while a second one noted, "Trust me it’s not gonna drop," followed by a laughing emoticon.

A third echoed a similar sentiment and said, "It’s never dropping," while another one quipped, "40 min is that that long for Kanye can’t wait for his album drop though"

"40 minutes? To apologize? Who had bro at gunpoint?" questioned another one.

"10 minutes in he probably started ranting again," slammed another one.

One more X user assumed, "Why is he rolling out his apology like an album? next a trailer and sneak peak?"

"A forty minute video in which he will be verbally stating an apology as he blinks in Morse code the exact opposite," noted another one.

One more said, "He keeps apologizing and then going back and saying the same stuff lol"

Another one said, "40 minutes, huh? Sounds more like an explanation than an apology. Let's see if he actually takes responsibility or just tries to spin it."

Kanye West earlier apologized to Jewish community for his antisemitic 'outbursts'

The 24-time Grammy winner, who has 64.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, already apologized in Hebrew on December 26, 2023, but many assumed the apology was generated by artificial intelligence.

On Christmas Day, West initially expressed regret to the Jewish community for his string of "unintentional" antisemitic "outbursts."

West's Hebrew apology statement read, "I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused."

"I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future," he added.

The father of four said that he is "committed to making amends and promoting unity" and that forgiveness is "important" to him, reports Page Six.

Kanye's groveling apologies came soon after his antisemitic outburst in Las Vegas, during which he praised Adolf Hitler, Jesus and Donald Trump.

After yelling at the assembly to "shut the f**k up," West attacked the private school his children—whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian—attend and said that all the "rich f**ks" in the room had their children enrolled "in Zionist schools."
