LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tennis star Taylor Fritz defeated Frances Tiafoe to advance to the final of the US Open 2024 men's singles event in an all-American semifinal that went right down to the wire on Friday, September 7.

Notably, he achieved this feat with his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, by his side. She has supported him in his major career moves.The two started dating in 2020.

Morgan Riddle has reportedly emerged as the most influential tennis WAG in recent times. In January 2024, she was spotted in Taylor Fritz's player box throughout the Australian Open as she supported him in the men's singles, per The Daily Mail.

Riddle's profile reportedly gained 29,215 followers over the two-week Grand Slam. 

Moreover, at Wimbledon 2024, she collaborated with the tournament on Wimbledon Threads where she was a roaming broadcaster dissecting off-court fashion for the Championships' social media channels, per Tatler.

Morgan Riddle moved to Los Angeles in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic and was looking for friends. She joined Raya, a members-only dating app, where she met Taylor Fritz, per the US Magazine.

Riddle told People about their first date, "Because it was during Covid, no restaurants were open, no bars were open so we ordered sushi. We went to his place and I made him watch 'Midsommar' with me, the really messed up horror movie. Why I chose that as my first introduction to a guy, I don’t really know. I think I traumatized him a little bit."

Riddle moved in with Fritz after dating for just a few weeks and has traveled across the world with him for different tournaments.

Morgan Riddle gets entangled in Taylor Fritz and Alexander Zverev drama

Morgan Riddle has seen both fame and controversy. During Wimbledon in July 2024, Riddle found herself at the center of a spat between Taylor Fritz and Alexander Zverev, per Marca.

As Fritz defeated Zverev, the German opponent complained about noise coming from Fritz's supporters, including Riddle. The situation became worse when Riddle seemed to reference past domestic abuse allegations against Zverev in a now-deleted Instagram video, which she later clarified was misunderstood.

Riddle celebrated Fritz's Wimbledon win by referencing domestic abuse claims made against his opponent in 2020 with the caption "when your man wins 4 the girls".

Fritz defeated Zverev in the 2024 US Open quarterfinal. He will take on the role of the underdog when he meets Italian top seed Jannik Sinner in the final on Sunday.
