Reason Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce couldn't meet the night before Super Bowl reportedly revealed
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Despite traveling 9000 miles to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce during Super Bowl LVIII, Taylor Swift did not get to see him when she arrived on Saturday night.
She made a stop at her home in Los Angeles before continuing her journey towards Las Vegas, rather than flying directly to Vegas ahead of the game at Allegiant Stadium.

There are rumored to be stringent regulations pertaining to wives and girlfriends before games, which is why Swift did not rush to join Kelce.
Taylor Swift was banned from seeing Travis Kelce owing to NFL rules
The 14-time Grammy winner was seen arriving at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, having just finished four back-to-back Eras Tour concerts in Tokyo.
Her decision was unexpected given that she was scheduled to attend the Sunday, February 11, Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
However, TMZ reported that it may have been motivated by an alleged NFL guideline that forbids players from visiting their spouses or girlfriends the evening before a major game.
The NFL prohibits its players from spending the night before a game with their significant other; this policy is upheld year-round, but it is particularly strict during Super Bowl week.
As a result, Chiefs and 49ers players would have been under lockdown until late Saturday night. This would have prevented Swift from seeing her boyfriend when she arrived in Vegas.
Swift stayed home in Los Angeles on Saturday night due to the purported edict and then traveled to Sin City later that day to support the Kansas City Chiefs.
Swift entered the stadium with Blake Lively, Ice Spice, and her mother Andrea Swift at her side. She was wearing a red jacket with the number '60' sewn across the back, a black corset top, and trousers adorned with crystals.
She was also sporting a gold '87' necklace to represent her beau, Travis Kelce.
Taylor Swift took flight back to the US after wrapping Tokyo Eras Tour shows
The 34-year-old 'Bad Blood' singer concluded her final Eras Tour show in Japan on Saturday night when she started her frantic flight back to the US.
She arrived in Sin City following a 10-hour journey to Los Angeles on Saturday, which she allegedly took shortly after her last show concluded, per Page Six.
An hour following the conclusion of the show, reporters observed as minivans pulled up to Haneda Airport, where "someone went inside the gate area as four to five people carrying large black umbrellas obstructed the view of the person."
She had to cross multiple time zones to arrive in time for Super Bowl LVIII, where she was expected to attend in a VIP suite alongside Kelce's parents, brother, and sister-in-law, along with her parents, brother, and girlfriend.
Travis Kelce quipped 'losing all the money' to ensure premium seats
The Kansas Chiefs tight end made light of the fact that he was "losing all the money" to guarantee his loved ones premium tickets at the game so they could watch him perform.
Swift was rumored to be meeting up at the stadium with her own family as well as Kelce's brother Jason Kelce, sister-in-law Kylie Kelce, and mother Donna Kelce.
According to reports, Kelce has allegedly spent $1 million on an opulent suite at the stadium so that Swift, her family, and his family can all watch the sport together in style when she does arrive.
The suite features a private bar, lounge, and balcony that could hold up to 50 guests. As per TMZ, "Taylor’s gonna be there. He [Kelce] just wants everyone to enjoy Super Bowl Sunday together."
