The Mark Twain Award recipient candidly joked about his new fad while promoting his upcoming flick ‘Despicable Me 4.’

The 56-year-old told People that he is “planting the seeds” to end up on the cover “because you guys never have comedians."

“So get it going internally, all right? Sexiest Man,” he added.

Ferrell stars as the 'Despicable Me' franchise’s new character Maxime Le Mal and called his role “a sexy villain.”

During the interview, the actor joked that he would like "to be fluent in every language in the world" when asked about what superpower he would wish to have as a Mega-Minion.

"And be People Magazine's Sexiest Man of the Year,” he said, adding, “Come on. Vote for comedians."

Ferrell joined his co-stars Kristen Wiig and Steve Carell from the ‘Anchorman' as they attended the premiere of the latest Universal Pictures movie on Sunday, June 9, at New York City.

The ‘Get Hard’ actor reflected on the legacy of the 'Anchorman' franchise, too, as he said, “So proud. And I think at the time, we couldn't believe we were getting to make such a weird, bizarre movie. So I'm just so happy that it has kind of stayed in the zeitgeist all these years.”
