What is Will Smith's single ‘You Can Make It’ all about?

The spirited single features the Sunday Service choir, one who was past of Kanye West’s ‘Jesus Is King’ song. Smith’s latest single is also assisted by Fridayy in which he raps about life's struggles and staying on track no matter what.

“You are in the smoke and the fire / Tight rope on the wires / I see you’re broken and tired / And all your hope is expired,” he goes.

“So many tests for the flesh / Exhausted, gasping to catch your breath / Walking through the valley of the shadow of death / and when you think you’ve got nothing left, keep going,” Smith raps.

His last track was an EDM version ‘Get Lit' and his previous studio album ‘Lost and Found' was released in 2005.

Many fans also believe Smith rapped about his infamous 2022 Oscars slap incident with Chris Rock, according to People.

“Believe me, they tried to bleed Will Smith / In the rear view I see adversity was the gift. Out of the madness out of the maze / Out of the saddest into the rays / the darkest of nights turns into day / And every storm runs out of rain,” the lyrics says.

On Friday, June 28, he also posted a video on X, where he played the piano on his ‘You Can Make It,’ and captioned it, “Through some of my darkest moments, music has always been there for me — to lift me and help me grow. It’s my humble wish that it can do the same for you and bring you all the joy and light you deserve.”

Smith will be performing the song live on Sunday, June 30, at the 2024 BET Awards.

Delighting his fans, recently Smith sneaked into a Los Angeles movie theater on Friday night, June 7, to watch his latest film 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die' alongside the audience.

Smith shared a video clip from his night out starting with him arriving at the Baldwin Hills theater.
