LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Reality TV star Harry Jowsey has been diagnosed with skin cancer at the age of 26, as confirmed by him on his TikTok account.

The former 'Dancing With The Stars' contestant revealed the shocking health news in a video on Friday, April 26 evening, urging his followers to “please wear sunscreen” as summer approaches.

What did Harry Jowsey say?

In a TikTok video, Jowsey said, "I’m going to be all good, everything’s going to be ok."

The Australian-born star of 'Too Hot To Handle' emphasized to viewers, "If you’re a freckly little frog like me, go get a mole map and get your body checked, because you never know.” He mentioned having the cancerous spot on his shoulder for "a year or two" without realizing it.

He further said, “Go get your skin checked, wear your sunscreen, and be a little bit more responsible because that’s what I’ve got to do now, and it’s very scary.”

While Jowsey didn't specify the type of skin cancer he was diagnosed with or its cause, it's worth noting that most skin cancers result from overexposure to UV radiation, which can come from tanning beds or sun exposure.

According to the American Cancer Society, it is estimated that more than 100,600 people will be diagnosed with melanoma, a type of skin cancer, in 2024, and approximately 8,290 individuals are expected to die from the disease.

Doctors advise examining moles for asymmetry, irregular borders, uneven color, changes in diameter, and whether the spot is evolving, as these could all be signs of cancer.
