LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The latest ‘Yellowstone’ episode once again kept the fans at the edge of their seats as another major character was killed off on Sunday’s episode.
Following the death of Kevin Costner’s iconic character John Dutton’s death in the premiere of season five part two, another character followed his lead to face a grisly end.
In a surprising plot twist, that most of the fans didn’t anticipate, Sarah Atwood (played by Dawn Olivieri) met with a grim fate on the Sunday, November 24 episode.
Sarah Atwood’s character gets killed off on Sunday’s episode
In an act of poetic justice, Sarah Atwood, who previously orchestrated the death of John Dutton, met with a similar fate as the Dutton family patriarch, reported Daily Mail.
During the latest episode of 'Yellowstone', Sarah was killed by two people attached to the same company from where she hired assassins to kill Dutton.
Earlier in the episode, Kayce Dutton (played by Luke Grimes) convinced the medical examiner with enough evidence that John Dutton did not kill himself, but rather it was a murder.
Upon learning that the cause of death was changed to homicide, Sarah frantically tried to contact the company she hired to kill Dutton. She even got a burner phone to call them.
However, the number, in turn, was out of service. As Sarah was struggling to place the call, Jamie Dutton (played by Wes Bentley) returned home, and the duo argued about the implications of the murder investigation.
Toward the end of their altercation, Jamie slapped Sarah, which made her leave the premises. Jamie, however, quickly called her to apologize.
But at the same time, a car pulled up to Sarah, and a couple stopped her to ask for directions while she was still on the call with Jamie. She was left flabbergasted when the man asked if she was Sarah Atwood.
In a dramatic turn of events, when she asked him how he knew her name, the man pulled up a gun to shoot her. The assassin fired a few more shots at her chest to confirm her death.
As the assassin fled the scene and took the discarded shells with him, Jamie, who was still on the phone call, wailed loudly. Since the Attorney General was still on the phone while Sarah was killed, Jamie could be next on the list.
With three more episodes left in the season, the drama in the 'Yellowstone' universe has reached its climax, with the conclusion yet to come to the fore.
