LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The tension behind the scenes in 'Yellowstone' has been the subject of much discussion in recent months, but Ian Bohen—who plays Ryan in the show—has revealed something significant to fans for the first time.

For months, viewers of the beloved Western drama 'Yellowstone', starring Kevin Costner, have been waiting impatiently to learn when the second half of its fifth and final season will premiere.

Though creator Taylor Sheridan is moving on to other programs, Bohen has now provided an update on when fans may anticipate seeing more of the Dutton family's adventures.

'Yellowstone' star Ian Bohen hints at the start of season 5, part 2 production

Ian Bohen, who joined the main cast in season four after beginning as a recurring cast member at the beginning of the show, revealed to Entertainment Tonight that 'Yellowstone' might resume filming in late spring or early summer.

"We will go back, rumor has it in May. This summer and then we should be on in November, roughly," Bohen, 47, said at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party in West Hollywood on Sunday, March 10.

The actor—who portrays ranch hand Ryan on the Emmy-nominated Paramount Network series—says that while the exact filming schedule is still pending, the entire team will be working diligently all year long on the much-awaited season 6.

"You're gonna have to give me some leeway on that. It's not gonna be sooner than that. It could be June."

"We shoot six episodes... November... maybe December, and then we go through the holidays, and then maybe season finale...series finale, maybe on Super Bowl, and that will be the end of an era," Bohen said.

Bohen appears to support Paramount's stated intention for the show to return in November, even though the network has been more coy about when 'Yellowstone' will resume production.

With the series coming to an end—apparently because star Kevin Costner left owing to schedule issues and strained ties to Sheridan—Bohen talked about how odd it feels to be almost done with his role.

"It's like going to college and grad school with the same people for six or eight years and you're like, 'We have to go? Then what are we gonna do next?'" Bohen went on. "It feels empty and weird so I'm gonna try to wring out every second of it."

'Yellowstone' cast and crew dedicated to giving show fitting finale

It is unknown how much Kevin Costner will be participating in the final season as he left the cast to work on solo projects. The future of the Matthew McConaughey-led spin-off is still up in the air, but everyone else in the main ensemble is anticipated to return.

However, McConaughey won't sign on until he reads scripts that he likes, and as of writing the article, none had been sent to him, per Daily Mail.

Bohen was hopeful that he and his costars would be in agreement once they were in front of the camera, despite the behind-the-scenes disputes that have plagued the series.

He stated, "The most important thing — and people come and go and there's all kinds of stories that you may read about and hear — but this story of what this show is about is the most important."

"We're all components and we all become madly in love with each other as actors and as people so we'll finish that out in this beautiful glide to land."

Bohen clarified that although he is still reviewing the scripts for the remaining six episodes, he was confident that the finale will satisfy fans.

"You're gonna get the most satisfying, the best ending that the show could have from the mind of our creator," Bohen said.

"Taylor [Sheridan] is going to be delivering to the audience, so it'll be worth the wait, so we thank everybody for waiting."
