On Thursday, May 9, Pattie, 49, took to the comments section of Hailey Bieber’s father, actor Stephen Baldwin's Instagram post celebrating Justin and Hailey's pregnancy news, confusing the platform.

"Congratulations Grandpa!" Pattie wrote, "WE ARE GONNA HAVE THE CUTEST GRAND-BABIES EVER!"

However, Pattie's all-caps comment regarding "grand-babies" caused some major confusion among fans online, per HuffPost.

Fans began to speculate if Justin and Hailey, married in 2018, were expecting more children. So Pattie took to Instagram once more to make it clear that her son and daughter-in-law are not starting a family with twins.

She wrote, "No not twins lol I wish. I just mean in general. Hopefully, they will have more than one eventually. They will make beautiful babies whenever they have them. One is enough for now."
