DETROIT, MICHIGAN: Vice President Kamala Harris firmly addressed a protester who interrupted her rally, asserting that while everyone has the right to speak, it was currently her turn. She suggested that a victory for former President Donald Trump might not align with the protester's desired outcome.

Since Gov Tim Walz (D-MN) was announced as the VP nominee, the pair have embarked on an intense campaign journey. On Wednesday, August 7, they traveled to Wisconsin in the afternoon and to Detroit, Michigan, by the evening.

As the Vice President spoke at a rally in Romulus, Michigan, demonstrators continuously chanted "genocide" slogans in opposition to Israel's Gaza war, now in its tenth month, according to The Independent. They jeered at her with chants of, "Kamala, Kamala, you can't hide, we won't vote for genocide."

She further added, "I’m here because we believe in democracy. Everyone’s voice matters. But I am speaking now."

"Look, if he is elected, Donald Trump intends to give tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations. He intends to cut Social Security and Medicare. He intends to surrender our fight against the climate crisis, and he intends to end the Affordable Care Act, " the Vice President said talking to a heckler.
