BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Nicole Murphy is grappling with the loss of her late partner Warren Braithwaite.

In a touching Instagram Story, the 56-year-old shared her grief with her followers.

She captioned the photo, “I miss you so much my love. May you rest in peace my sweet.”

“It’s so hard not hearing your voice or seeing your face,” she further wrote, adding “You were my world and my everything.”

Since July 2023, the couple had been linked publicly and Braithwaite was by Murphy’s side at her son’s wedding in September.

While they kept their relationship relatively private, Murphy’s Instagram featured candid moments of their time together, from holiday celebrations to date nights.

Even as Murphy didn't share the cause of Braithwaite's death, the Essence reported that he died of cancer. 

Murphy had disabled the comment section on her Instagram posts after fans began enquiring about the cause of her partner's death. 

Nicole Murphy shares a dance floor memory with  Warren Braithwaite

In December 2023, Murphy shared a tender moment of the couple on the dance floor with the caption, “We both are not perfect, but we are perfect for each other my love.”

Nicole Murphy mourned the loss of her mother in 2019

Previously, Murphy had experienced the loss of her mother, Ellen Mitchell, in November 2019. She honored her parents on Instagram, expressing, “Today I lost the most beautiful person in the world to me my mom."

Murphy, who was previously married to Eddie Murphy, has five children: Myles, Bria, Shayne, Zola, and Bella. They were married between 1993 and 2006.
