Young Dolph had a $100K bounty on his head

Justin Johnson was found guilty of multiple charges including first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and felon in possession of a firearm.

Fellow conspirator Cornelius Smith testified that the rapper Yo Gotti’s brother, Anthony "Big Jook" Mims, put out a $100,000 hit on Dolph.

He also put bounties on all the artists at Dolph's record label, Paper Route Empire.

Suspect Hernandez Govan helped them to set up the hit on any Paper Route Empire rappers they could find in time, per TMZ.

Smith said he and co-defendant Johnson set out on the morning of November 17, 2021, "looking for somebody" and "didn’t know who we were going to catch," per Fox 26 Houston.

Rapper Dolph started his career as a mixtape artist, and then released multiple studio albums including ‘King of Memphis', and ‘Rich Slave'.

The Memphis artist went on to collaborate with stars such as Megan Thee Stallion, Key Glock, Gucci Mane, and 2 Chainz.
