LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actress Yvette Nicole Brown called out reality star Khloe Kardashian for her excessive water use as wildfires continue to blaze through Los Angeles neighborhoods, US Weekly reported on Tuesday, January 14.

Kardashian faced Brown's ire after she criticized LA Mayor Karen Bass for her response to the ongoing tragedy. However, the 40-year-old was supporting LA Fire Chief Kristin M Crowley, who shared her concern about her department not being properly funded during a recent interview.

As of January 14, the LA Fires have burned through more than 23,000 acres, and is yet to be fully contained.

Taking to the social media platform Instagram on Monday, January 13, 53-year-old Yvette Nicole Brown shared a screengrab from a Rolling Stone article dated August 23, 2022, which was headlined, 'Kardashians among LA's worst water wasters, using 333,000 gallons over county limit in June.'

“This is from 2022 when Los Angeles was in the midst of a drought,” wrote the 'Community' star in the caption. "Every citizen was asked to conserve for the good of everyone else. Y’know because of fires? This is how some citizens responded to the ask. Is THIS a joke @khloekardashian?”

The post comes after Kardashian stood by LA Fire Chief Crowley saying in an interview, "We are screaming to be properly funded, to make sure that our firefighters can do their jobs so that we can serve the community that we took an oath."

"You spoke the truth and you had tears in your eyes because I can tell you didn’t even want to say that but it was THE TRUTH!!!!!” Kardashian had shared via an Instagram Story on January 10. "Thank you for being honest @LosAngelesFireDepartment Chief Crowley. Mayor Bass you are a joke!!!!”
