Last week, the ‘Pillow Talk’ crooner surprised his fans with a transformed appearance on Instagram.
Malik shared a clip of singing his song 'Shoot At Will', but most of the fans were more interested in his appearance than the song.
He had long hair, and a full beard instead of his popular stubble.
Zayn Mallik is considering rejoining One Direction
According to reports, Malik is also keen to reach out to his former One Direction teammates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson after leaving the band 10 years ago.
The 31-year-old shared during the 'Zach Shang Show' that he now finds greater fulfillment in his life and regrets not giving his engagement with the British boy band more thought, believing that he "took things seriously."
The band announced they would be taking an indefinite break less than a year later after the dissolution of its members.
As per insiders, the British singer, who cited "stress" as the factor behind his shock exit—is now willing to reach out, stating that he is seeking "friendship and forgiveness" from his fellow former bandmates of One Direction.
"He is trying to figure out the best way to reach out because it will be odd, weird, and uncomfortable, but it is something that has been on his mind," an insider revealed to Daily Mail.
The source added, "He doesn't know if it will ever happen, or when, but he would love to start a conversation with the other guys from One Direction and try to make amends with all of them."
