LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Zendaya has to sideline a planned appearance on 'Good Morning America' on Tuesday, February 27, due to a brief illness.

The 27-year-old who is on a press tour to promote her film 'Dune: Part Two' shared on Monday, February 26, that she had to cancel her appearance on the morning show.

Is Zendaya OK?

Zendaya informed 'GMA' of her cancellation through a video which was posted by 'GMA' on Instagram.

"How sweet is @zendaya to send us this video? We'll miss you tomorrow and hope you feel better soon! ❤️," read the caption of the clip shared on Monday, February 26.

In the video, the 27-year-old actress sent wishes to viewers and expressed hope that they would enjoy her film.

With a raspy voice, Zendaya said, "Hello 'GMA.' Sorry I can't be there. I've come down with something and I completely lost my voice. But I hope you guys have a beautiful morning and hope you enjoy 'Dune: Part Two'."

However, she did not disclose the illness or if she would be able to make up her time on 'Good Morning America'.

Inside Zendaya's premiere of 'Dune: Part Two'

The setback came a day after Zendaya and her 'Dune: Part Two' co-stars Timothee Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, and Josh Brolin attended the premiere of the film on Sunday, February 25, in New York City, according to ET.

The 'Euphoria' actress wore a long white dress with gold accents on the hem as she appeared in a futuristic style theme styled by designer Stéphane Rolland.

Zendaya also paired her dress with gold Jimmy Choo shoes and a stack of gold rings by Bulgari.

Throughout the press tour for 'Dune: Part Two', Zendaya has been a fashion icon as she showcased an array of stylish looks that complemented the film's theme, including a leather jumpsuit she was twinning with Chalamet and a Givenchy-styled couture robot in a vintage style.

Zendaya recently expressed her willingness to reprise her role in a third 'Dune' movie whenever she receives the call from director Denis Villeneuve and if he plans to proceed for a third installment.

She previously shared her thoughts on joining in another 'Dune' movie as she said, “Would we be down? I mean of course. Any time Denis calls it’s a yes from me."

"I’m excited to see what happens. I started ‘Messiah’ and I was like, ‘Woah, I’m only shooting the first movie. Let me just go back to the first one.’ It’s so much to take in, but there are no better hands with better care and love for it than Denis," she added.
