NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Rapper Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson mocked longtime rival Sean 'Diddy' Combs on Friday, October 4, after the hip-hop mogul was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison.

Just hours after Judge Arun Subramanian handed down the punishment, 50 Cent fired off a sarcastic post on X, offering to take over Diddy’s upcoming speaking engagements in Miami.

50 Cent mocks Diddy over prison sentence

According to prosecutors, Diddy had been scheduled for speaking engagements in Miami next week before his sentencing.

Seizing the opportunity, 50 Cent ridiculed his rival online.

“Hey to whoever was booking Diddy for speaking engagement. I heard he won’t be able to make it, 🤷 I’m available! 😆,” he posted, linking to his G-Unit Brands website.

The jab quickly spread across social media, with fans joining in on the trolling as news of Diddy’s prison sentence dominated headlines.

The longstanding rivalry between Diddy and 50 Cent

The feud between Sean Combs and 50 Cent dates back decades.

In 2006, 50 Cent accused Diddy of having knowledge about rapper Notorious B.I.G.’s murder in his diss track "The Bomb".

Since then, the two artists have traded insults and barbs in interviews, music, and on social media.

Their rivalry reignited with Diddy’s highly publicized legal troubles, which culminated in his July 2025 conviction on federal prostitution charges.

A jury found him guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

50 Cent’s letter to Diddy judge

On Thursday, October 3, just one day before the sentencing, 50 Cent shared a letter he said he sent to Judge Arun Subramanian.

“I have had an ongoing dispute with Puffy (one of Diddy’s nicknames) for over 20 years. He is very dangerous. Multiple times I have feared for my life,” the letter read.

50 Cent urged the court to keep Diddy behind bars, closing his note with a mocking reference to the “baby oil” discovered during federal raids of Combs’ properties last year.

Diddy faces prison after guilty verdict

Diddy, who has long been a powerhouse in the music and business world, was found guilty in July on charges tied to his sex trafficking and racketeering trial.

Though acquitted of conspiracy charges, his conviction for prostitution-related offenses led to a 50-month prison sentence.

The ruling represents a stunning fall from grace for the once-celebrated mogul. For 50 Cent, however, it has provided new ammunition to continue mocking his rival.

What’s next for Diddy?

With nearly four years behind bars ahead of him, Diddy’s scheduled appearances and business ventures are already being derailed.

Prosecutors noted in court that speaking engagements were among the commitments he can no longer fulfill leaving room for rivals like 50 Cent to swoop in with their own brand of shade.

As the hip-hop world reacts to the shocking sentence, 50 Cent has made it clear he intends to keep the feud alive from outside the prison walls.
