Rebel Wilson shares insight into ‘all-girl’ life with wife and two daughters
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Rebel Wilson’s life is full of happiness and peace. During an interview, the actor shared that she is surrounded by female figures at home. With her wife and two daughters, Wilson says it is an “all-girl” life.
“It is definitely a girl power household,” Wilson said at the world premiere of her movie during the Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday, September 11. “It’s all girls, all day, every day.”

Wilson shares her life with wife, Ramona Agruma, and their two daughters, Royce Lillian Elizabeth, 4, and Rose Estelle, 4 months. The 'Pitch Perfect' alum said it was also easy for her to channel that feminine energy into 'Girl Group', which centers on a former pop diva who coaches a band of misfit teens as part of her community service.
“What inspired me to make Girl Group was just my love of girl groups,” she shared. “I was that teenage girl with a cassette tape and pumping Spice Girls the whole time. They were this group of women who were all unique. They were also bold. They got out there. They spoke their mind. They crushed it out in on the world stage.”
Speaking about her daughter during another interview, Wilson shared that her oldest daughter is not afraid to speak her mind. “She just goes around saying everything to anybody, teachers at school, people in the grocery store,” Wilson said during an interview with 'Today'. “She’ll be like, ‘I’m getting a baby sister,’ and then people come up, random people, go, 'Oh, congratulations on the new baby.’”

Wilson’s film 'Girl Group' celebrates the evolution of girl group music across generations. The film is written, directed and produced by Wilson, who also stars alongside Jennifer Coolidge, Randall Park, Nicole Scherzinger and Sally Hawkins.
The movie features a fictional girl group called Girlfriends, with Wilson, Ashley Roberts, Melanie Chisholm and Shaznay Lewis as the members. The cast brings together stars from Hollywood and the music world.
Wilson drew inspiration from some of the biggest girl groups over the years, including the Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child, TLC, En Vogue, Fifth Harmony, Little Mix and BLACKPINK.
“From Destiny's Child, TLC, En Vogue to Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, BLACKPINK more recently, who just absolutely crush it,” she raved. “I wanted to create a movie that celebrates girl group music throughout the decades, and I think this is it.”
