Aaron Rodgers clarifies ex Olivia Munn has ‘nothing to do’ with his estrangement from family
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Aaron Rodgers has defended his ex Olivia Munn, years after ending their relationship.
The football quarterback for the New York Jets has clarified that Munn should not be held responsible for his issues with his family, PEOPLE reported.
Aaron Rodgers wants to deal with his family issues 'privately'
A book, titled ‘Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers’, by Ian O'Connor, which includes interviews with Aaron Rodgers and his family members, revealed that 44-year-old actress Olivia Munn was not to be blamed for his strained relationship with his parents and brothers.
The 40-year-old athlete reportedly told the writer that Munn “has nothing to do with all the years” of problems he had with his family despite them saying otherwise.
A tipster further shared, as reported by Page Six, “Aaron has never wanted to air this out in a public forum. He’s going through great precautions not to make this worse.”
They also mentioned, “You’re not going to see him on Oprah crying about all of this. He will deal with his family issues privately.”
Olivia Munn said there were many 'complications’ in the Rodgers family
Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn had been together from 2014 to 2017. A year after their split, ‘The Predator’ star reportedly said, “[The Rodgers family] are all into sports and Aaron is one of the best, if not the best, quarterbacks to play the game. Their work has a direct connection to what he does.”
“There’s a lot of complications. I don’t think either side of the road is clean, but I do think it’s not OK if you try to stand on someone’s shoulders, then throw dirt in their face, that’s what I think,” she added at the time, making Aaron’ brother Jordan angry.
“I’ll say I have no idea why she’s still talking about an ex, I don’t get that,” he fired back.
However, now after Aaron’s latest statement backing her, an insider has claimed, “It’s been almost a decade of these ridiculous rumors, and I know she really appreciates Aaron finally shutting it down.”
“The Rodgers family has a lot going on, and she hopes they find some peace,” they added.

You can choose your friends, but you CANNOT choose your family *,” the second reader stated.
