LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are among the growing list of celebrities devastated by the Pacific Palisades wildfire, which has ravaged Los Angeles’ affluent westside.
The couple’s $6.5 million home, which they purchased in 2019, was reduced to rubble on Wednesday, January 8.

Shocking photos show Brody and Meester's three-story property engulfed in flames, with its roof collapsed and smoke pouring through shattered windows.
The couple, last seen at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 5, lived in the 6,000-square-foot home with their two young children.
It featured five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and luxurious amenities, now lost to the inferno.
Fast-moving wildfire leaves destruction in its wake
The Palisades Fire, fueled by high winds and months of drought, began on Tuesday morning, January 7, rapidly spreading through dry vegetation.
Blocks of multimillion-dollar homes have been destroyed, with the fire advancing at a staggering pace of three football fields per minute.

Sunset Boulevard was lined with abandoned luxury vehicles as residents fled on foot.
Over 30,000 people were evacuated, many with little more than their pets and essentials, according to Daily Mail.
The fire has already claimed two lives and left many injured.
Celebrities face heartbreaking losses
Actress Anna Faris lost her $5 million mansion, which was reduced to its foundation.
Jamie Lee Curtis, who evacuated her home, shared her anguish on Instagram, writing, “My family is safe, but many of my friends will lose their homes.”
"We ALL take everything for granted because we are all living our lives but when it hits your community, it's particularly shocking," she added.

Paris Hilton posted aerial images of the devastation, praying for Los Angeles and California.
Other stars, including Ben Affleck, Mandy Moore, Tom Hanks, and Steve Guttenberg, were seen evacuating or reporting damage to their properties.
The inferno, which has ravaged over 5,400 acres in the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood, reduced reality TV star Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s home to ashes.

Getty Villa and other landmarks threatened
The Getty Villa narrowly escaped destruction thanks to its fire mitigation efforts.
While some vegetation burned, museum officials confirmed the artwork and buildings remain safe.
