Adele announces she's engaged to BF Rich Paul at her Munich concert

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Adele has finally opened up on rumors of her engagement after a fan proposed the ‘Hello’ singer during a concert.

On Friday, August 9, the multiple Grammys award winner was performing in Munich, Germany, when a fan jokingly proposed, to which Adele responded.

"I can't marry you, I'm already getting married," she said while lifting her left hand.

Adele's comment has now confirmed the months-long speculation that she's been engaged to Rich Paul.

During her interview in August 2022, Adele opened up about her romantic relationship, “I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him,” she told Elle of Paul. 

The couple confirmed their love affair in September 2021, after being spotted together on several occasions.

On their first meeting, Adele told Vogue that it was a party, where she was simply drawn to his energy. 

“I was a bit drunk. I said, ‘Do you want to sign me? I’m an athlete now,’” she remembered. “He was dancing. All the other guys were just sitting around. He was just dancing away,” Adele said.

On another occasion, Adele talked about Paul during her CBS special, 'Adele One Night Only', reported People.

"He's just hilarious. Oh, he's so funny, he's hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he's very, very smart. It's quite incredible watching him do what he does," she said.

Adele shared that it was the first time she’s “loved myself and been open to loving and being loved by someone else.”
