Adin Ross addresses rumors he retracted $100K boat and Kick offer to Lieutenant Dan due to criminal past
TAMPA, FLORIDA: Streamer Adin Ross has offered a $100,000 boat and a livestreaming contract to "Lieutenant Dan" during the ongoing Hurricane Milton in Florida. However, as the Tampa man's criminal record came to light, it is uncertain whether the offer from Ross still stands.
Joseph Malinowski, a Florida man with one leg who goes by Lieutenant Dan online, has captured attention for defying evacuation orders during Hurricane Milton. On October 10, audiences were surprised as Ross connected with Lieutenant Dan in a livestream.
Adin Ross offers Lieutenant Dan boat and livestreaming deal
Adin Ross proposed to purchase a new boat for Lieutenant Dan, stating, "We're going to get you a nice boat in the range of $50,000 to $100,000."
Furthermore, he suggested a full-time livestreaming agreement with the platform Kick, which would allow Lieutenant Dan to share his "voyages and adventures" with viewers.
The streamer highlighted that this arrangement could offer a steady stream of passive income and the opportunity to engage with an international audience.
Lieutenant Dan expressed his gratitude, replying, "Thank you… bless you all." He conveyed that although his social security disability checks covered his basic necessities, Ross's proposal provided him with "the opportunity to live," not merely to survive.
In the conversation, Lieutenant Dan opened up about his personal challenges, disclosing that he lost his legs at the age of 16, fought cancer at 30, and suffered through a 14-year addiction to Oxycontin. Although he has been homeless since 2015, he conquered his addiction in 2014, yet he recognized the ongoing struggles he encounters.
Ross' magnanimous gesture became a pivotal moment for Lieutenant Dan, whose fortitude and openness resonated deeply with the audience.

Meanwhile, social media was abuzz with rumors, fueled by a video clip of Ross' shocked reaction, alleging that the streamer had withdrawn his offer to the Florida man.
Facebook users also claimed that the streamer has withdrawn his deal. One remarked, "He took that deal back soon as he offered it".
Another claimed Ross took the deal back because of the Florida man's criminal records, "He took it all back because of his record. And left him the go fund me only."

During his stream, Ross disclosed that he had sent a message to the TikToker who first assisted Lt Dan in gaining viral attention, inquiring whether he had selected a boat of his liking.
“Dan is getting his boat, and he’s getting everything,” he said. “Leave that man alone. I’ll make sure he gets the boat, money… everything."
