Alec Baldwin agreed to do reality show as wife Hilaria didn’t give him ‘much option’, claims insider
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Tuesday, June 4, it was announced that 'Pulp Fiction' actor Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin would be featuring their family life with their seven children in a TLC series titled 'The Baldwins'.
Insiders now claim that the '30 Rock' actor, 66, has been mentally preoccupied with his impending involuntary manslaughter trial in July and that he only consented to participate in the upcoming TLC reality show to appease his wife.

Alec Baldwin not happy with most recent professional move
According to People, the Baldwin family will be making their television debut with the upcoming reality series 'The Baldwins'.
The '30 Rock' former cast member and his spouse revealed the event on Instagram.
A sneak peek at the family dynamics of the couple and their children was provided by their video post, which will be portrayed on TLC in 2025.
The 50-second teaser ends with the parents and their seven "Baldwinitos" gathered around the sofa, yelling, "We are the Baldwins!" into the camera.
"Hilaria’s fascinated with the spotlight and wants to turn herself and her family into superstars and not just through association with Alec," a source revealed.
A second source added, "A lot of people around Alec think it’s bonkers for him to consider doing a reality show now when he’s absolutely consumed with stress and worry."
"He’s doing this show but with a heavy heart and Hilaria’s not giving him much of an option," the source said, per OK! Magazine.
The 'Boss Baby' actor previously said that he would only want to be a part of a reality program about his family if it meant staying home instead of having to travel for work.
Alec said, "Everything's about my family," during a recent interview. "I have really tried in the last several years, once we had five and then six, and then seven kids. I can't go anywhere for any length of time."
"So everything we did and then shows we have considered and pitches we've heard, and even one or two pitches we've made about our family and that reality show has all been so we could stay home and just work from home. I'm desperate to try to work from New York," he said.
Alec Baldwin's 'Rust' trial set to proceed in July
According to a grand jury indictment, Alec was charged with involuntary manslaughter in January after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died unintentionally while making the movie 'Rust'.
Legal documents state that Alec was held accountable for the film staff member's death "by an act committed with the total disregard or indifference for the safety of others, and the act was such that an ordinary person would anticipate that death might occur under the circumstances."
Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer denied Alec's attorneys' request to have the indictment dismissed in an order in May. Therefore, his involuntary manslaughter trial is still set for July, per NPR.
Alec was holding the pretend gun, which was filled with live bullets, during a rehearsal for a scene in the Western film on a ranch outside Santa Fe, almost three years ago.
Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed and director Joel Souza was injured when the Colt.45 handgun exploded.
'Rust' Movie Productions was cited and penalized by the Occupational Health and Safety Bureau of the New Mexico Environment Department for their shortcomings that resulted in Hutchins' "avoidable death".
