LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former Nickelodeon star Alexa Nikolas has criticized actress Blake Lively in the wake of the controversy surrounding Lively's most recent film 'It Ends With Us.'

Lively has come under fire from Alexa for her "shameful" promotion of 'It Ends With Us' movie. Alexa also called out the film for putting her "abuser's music" on the soundtrack.

'Zoey 101' alum Alexa Nikolas, 32, sent a harsh Instagram message to the actress, 36, and all the other cast members of 'It Ends With Us' amid the current controversy surrounding the movie.

On Monday, August 19, Alexa uploaded a message where she chastised the actress and the team behind it for using her "abuser's music."

She called the movie's "roll out" a "complete disaster" and reprimanded the filmmakers for using a song written by her 48-year-old ex-husband, Michael Milosh.

The former Nickelodeon star alluded to the song 'Hymn' from the controversial movie, which was composed by Michael.

In a 2021 lawsuit that Alexa eventually withdrew, she accused Michael of sexually abusing and grooming her. Michael has refuted her accusations, calling them "outrageously false," per Daily Mail.

Alexa started off her harsh post by saying, "I can't say enough how disappointed I am in @BlakeLively and @ItEndsWithUsMovie. Not only has your roll out of this film been a complete disaster and shame, but you also put my known abuser/groomer's music in your film."

"There is physical evidence of him grooming me when he was 33 and I was 16. It's easily accessible on the internet sadly since I had to also take on the emotional labor of exposing Rhye with evidence. [There] was also a very public lawsuit that goes into great detail about what he did to me. Shame on this film," she continued.

The new film, released earlier this month and has since generated a number of controversy, included the song 'Hymn' by Michael, better known by his stage name Rhye.

Rumors of an extended dispute between Blake and her costar Justin Baldoni, 40, dominated headlines in the run-up to the film's premiere, and as a result, both actors were subject to intense online scrutiny.

What happened with Alexa Nikolas and Michael Milosh?

Alexa Nikolas filed a lawsuit against her ex-Michael Milosh in 2021, alleging that he "terrorized, sodomized, and abused" her. She went on to accuse the celebrity of "utilizing his power" and "years of sexual grooming" during her childhood.

"He utilized his power of authority and seniority over [Alexa], as well as years of sexual grooming of [Alexa] as a minor child, to manipulate her into trusting him," the court documents read.

"Upon gaining her trust, Defendant Milosh terrorized, sodomized, and abused [Alexa] as part of his continuous conduct aimed at satisfying his prurient and economic desires."

According to court filings, she messaged him on MySpace in 2009, when he was 33 years old and she was only 16. She claimed that he answered "almost immediately," and that their conversation eventually turned sexual.

Alexa claimed in further documents obtained by TMZ that Michael assaulted her when they first met in person when she was 18. According to her lawsuit, Michael also abused her in 2010 or 2011, forcing her to allow him to record their sexual activity.

They got married in 2012, and she claimed he talked her into getting married so he could get a green card. She eventually decided to withdraw her complaint in 2022, and he responded by stating that she brought a "frivolous lawsuit without legal basis or factual support."

Michael vehemently refuted the charges against him in an interview with Rolling Stone, saying, "I’ve always strongly supported women and their right to speak out and be heard."

"That is why the false claims made by my former wife had been so hurtful and shocking to me. Like all marriages, we had our difficulties and attempted to weather them together as best we could."

He added, "Ultimately, despite our best efforts, we agreed to divorce. I loved her very much and we shared many special years before our marriage ended."

He claimed that Alexa "resorted to character assassination" after he "stopped supporting her financially." He also described her charges as "absurd and outrageous false" in addition to "serious and demonstrable untrue."

Social media users support Alexa Nikolas for 'using her platform for justice'

Given the somber tone of the movie 'It Ends With Us,' fans and followers quickly supported Alexa Nikolas in the comment section for voicing against using her 'abuser's soundtrack in the film.

One follower commented, "Nothing better than the things you do as a celebrity and using your platform for justice. I appreciate you and all you post ❤️"

Another added, "Shame on them! You are SO BRAVE using your platform to expose this and so much more. Your bravery has helped me in my journey and I hope you find justice with this situation."

"Isn’t she supposed to be an advocate against child sex crimes? This is sad tbh. Do better Blake," chimed in a user.

Another noted, "Respectfully, I've only ever heard of him when it comes to the abuse he's committed. It feels especially gross for anyone to use his music, especially in this context. I'm so sorry, this is so unacceptable and disrespectful."

Actress Sloane Avery added, "So disappointing. What a missed opportunity to use artists who shine a light on the cause they are exploiting for money."

"Putting a song from a domestic abuser on a movie about domestic abuse is absolutely insane," exclaimed another.
