Ali Wentworth shares excitement over daughters coming home for holidays, but Internet rains on her parade
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star George Stephanopoulos’ wife Ali Wentworth is counting the days until their daughters return from college for the holiday season.
Her excitement is through the roof as the mother of two recently took to Instagram to share a snap of her and George hugging each other, posing for the camera while talking about reuniting with their daughters after sending them off to college earlier this year.
The 58-year-old actress and producer is the most affected among the two parents after she became an empty nester and to cope with her loneliness, Ali has been finding respite in different activities like baking cookies or reminiscing.
Although, despite expressing her enthusiasm for her daughters’ return, a fan has awakened Ali to a disturbing reality. They joked that even though their daughters might return, they won’t spend time with her and will be off to see her friends.

In Ali’s latest snap on Instagram, she stood next to George, leaning into him.
They appeared to be in their living room, which was dark and had bookcases behind them and a table in front of them.
