Stephen 'tWitch' Boss and Ellen DeGeneres' relationship was 'so special'
Allison Holker clarified that the speculation was false, adding that Ellen DeGeneres had always been supportive of Stephen 'tWitch' Boss.
"It was not true," she continued, adding "Ellen's wonderful, and she's just been a support system. If anything, she was a great example to Stephen."
"They had a great relationship and he loved that relationship with her. They had something that was so special," Holker added.
"I hope people can see that that bond is something that we shouldn't tear down," she said.
Stephen 'tWitch' Boss saw the end of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' as an 'opportunity'
In Allison Holker's memoir, she revealed that while the ending of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' was “bittersweet” for Stephen 'tWitch' Boss, he also saw it as a chance to take on new ventures.
"Would he have liked to have taken Ellen’s place and become the host? One thousand percent yes, but several months of discussions with the network went nowhere," she said, Parade reported.
"Stephen was disappointed, but in typical tWitch fashion he framed it in a positive light," she shared.
According to Holker, "He was sad to leave his other ‘home,’ but he also saw the end of DeGeneres’ era as ‘an opportunity to shed his deejay role and branch out into new, more ambitious ventures.’"
Allison Holker shares how Stephen 'tWitch' Boss' routine changed after the show
Allison Holker addressed claims that Stephen 'tWitch' Boss’ death was linked to the end of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.'
She noted that while the change impacted him, she does not believe it was a "destabilizing" factor. "He wasn’t out of a job," she said.
"No longer bound to a schedule, Stephen had more time to spend inside his head. The dark corners of his mind were not a healthy place for him to poke around in," Holker wrote.
