MINNESOTA, MINNEAPOLIS: A 37-year-old man is currently facing murder charges after invading a home disguised as a UPS worker and killing three people.

The killer, Alanzo Pierre Mingo faces three counts of second-degree murder with intent following the tragic incidents. Currently, Mingo has been jailed on a $5 million bond.

The individuals, all of whom suffered gunshot wounds to the head, have been identified as Shannon Patricia Jungwirth, 42, along with her son Jorge Alexander Reyes-Jungwirth, 20, and her husband Mario Alberto Trejo Estrada, 39. They were residents of Coon Rapids.

Additional details about the investigation and how authorities learned about the invasion have yet to be disclosed as per People.com.

Police reported to the crime scene

According to Fox News, the tragic event unfolded at approximately 12:25 p.m. on Friday when the Coon Rapids Police Department, Blaine Police Department, and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence near the 200 block of 94th Ave NW in Coon Rapids.

Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement discovered two adult males and one female adult deceased inside the residence

Video footage from outside the home captured three individuals leaving what was identified as Mingo’s car on Friday and entering the home.

Two of them were dressed as delivery drivers, with one carrying a cardboard box as if delivering a package, as per authorities.

Home camera footage depicted the suspect identified as Mingo, attired in a UPS-style uniform, leading a man at gunpoint into a bedroom where a woman and two children—ages 2 and 4—were present.

These children were the offspring of Estrada and Jungwirth.

Inside the room, Mingo reportedly held the two adults at gunpoint, demanded money, and then compelled the two adults and the children out of the room.

The suspect later returned with only the woman, Shannon Patricia Jungwirth, and fatally shot her at point-blank range in the head.

What did the Minnesota Star-Tribune report?

The Minnesota Star-Tribune has reported that a search warrant affidavit filed on Monday links Trejo Estrada's drug dealing activities to the homicides

The document, filed by a member of a Twin Cities violent crime enforcement team, alleges that Trejo Estrada was involved in trafficking cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.

Additionally, he was accused of sending substantial sums of money "numerous times to various individuals in Mexico."

The publication noted that shortly after the killings, law enforcement executed a search of a storage unit rented by Trejo Estrada in Golden Valley. During the search, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, meth, and an unspecified white powder were seized.

Meanwhile, revelations indicate that victim Reyes-Jungwirth was scheduled to work on Friday at his landscaping job but was given the day off due to slow business. "Jorge was just in the wrong place at the wrong time," shared Reyes-Jungwirth's close friend Jack Heidelberg with the Star-Tribune.

Police reported that Mingo was employed at UPS until early January. A UPS delivery uniform top and vest were discovered in a backpack in Mingo's vehicle, with fingerprints on the cardboard box matching Mingo’s, according to the police.

UPS spokesperson Karen Tomaszewski Hill conveyed to The AP via email that Mingo was a seasonal employee who worked for the company for a short time until mid-January.
