INDIO, CALIFORNIA: Kesha is back in the spotlight with a bang as she rocked the stage at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, teaming up with Renee Rapp for an unforgettable performance.

But what got everyone talking was when the singer threw some shade at the notorious Sean Love Combs aka P Diddy by tweaking the lyrics of her hit 'Tik Tok'.

Lately, Kesha has been dropping mysterious hints about her upcoming music as fans await the release of her first new track since the settlement of her headline-making lawsuit against her former producer, Lukasz "Dr Luke" Gottwald.

Kesha disses Diddy during an unexpected appearance at Coachella

Kesha surprised the crowd by joining Rapp on the Coachella stage on Sunday, April 14, to perform her 2010 hit 'Tik Tok', as per Variety. 

The singer had more in store as she changed the opening lyrics to, "Wake up in the morning like f**k P Diddy," and both performances proceeded to flip off the notorious rapper who is facing a federal probe.

The original opening lyrics of the song are, "Wake up in the morning feeling like P Diddy," with a quick vocal cameo by the rapper himself saying, "Hey, what's up girl?"

In November 2023, during a performance in Los Angeles on her 'Only Love' tour, Kesha omitted Diddy's name from the song entirely, singing, "Wake up in the morning feeling just like me."

Diddy is currently facing multiple lawsuits alleging assault and sex trafficking. Homeland Security raided his Miami and Los Angeles homes in the last week of March, seizing multiple items like hard drives and phones. 

Internet reacts to Kesha's lyric change

One wrote, "Kesha always brings the unexpected 😭😭," and another shared, "Oh Kesha, we are ready for your comeback!"

A person declared, "Kesha being back is exactly what 2024 needed!" and later added, We stan KESHA! The industry did her so dirty," possibly hinting at her longstanding legal battle with Dr Luke.
