LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen are no longer at odds as the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum is eager to carry on her family's Easter custom, which might involve her ex-husband appearing.

During an interview with People on Friday, March 29, at the Midnight Mission's Easter Celebration in Los Angeles, Richards disclosed that she and the 'Two and a Half Men' star now have a "good relationship" and "get along."

Denise Richards said Charlie Sheen is 'always welcome' to enjoy holidays

On Friday, the mother of three spoke with People about her Easter plans with her children—Eloise, 12, Lola, 18, and Sami, 20—whom she shares with Sheen.

The 'Love Actually' star, 53, said, "We love to cook and we have the family together," expressing excitement for their yearly ritual.

"For Easter, it’s always been Easter egg hunts. My older girls are a little older but it's fun for them to see their little sister still enjoy the Easter bunny and an Easter egg hunt."

When questioned about Sheen's participation in holiday gatherings, especially considering Richards shares Lola and Sami with him, she remarked, "It depends on which holiday. He's always welcome."

In response to whether Sheen, whom Richards divorced in 2005 after nearly three years of marriage, will join them for Easter, she told People, "I don't know. Sometimes we play it by ear ... The more the merrier at our house. We just cook a lot of food and friends and family come so it's always fun."

She further emphasized that co-parenting is cordial and that both she and Sheen's daughters are officially adults. "We get along, we have a good relationship."

Denise Richards shares amicable relationship with her daughters

The former couple tied the knot in a California ceremony two years after their initial meeting in 2000 during the filming of the movie 'Good Advice.'

However, Richards filed for divorce in 2005, while pregnant with their youngest daughter, Lola, marking the conclusion of their brief marriage.

The former couple's eldest daughter, Sami, who reportedly moved out of Richards' house in 2021 to live with her father, has rekindled her relationship with her mother.

Last year, Sami even moved closer to Richards, and according to a source who spoke to People in July 2023, the mother-daughter duo appeared to have reconciled and patched things up.

"Sami has her own place — Denise helped her get set up and decorate everything and get settled in," the source disclosed. "They're closer than ever now. Denise really wants to keep her girls close to her. She doesn't want to push them away."

In an exclusive interview with People in 2019, Richards addressed her 7-year-old daughter Eloise and said that being a mother comes first for her.

The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum said at the time, "I’m most proud of raising my kids, especially in a time that is very different from how I was raised. It’s extremely hard to keep children grounded. This is not an easy time to grow up."

Richards encountered unique challenges in raising Eloise, whom she initially adopted as a single mother. Richards noted that Eloise's chromosomal abnormality "has led to a variety of developmental delays for her."

"Every child is different," she said. "You take care of your children no matter what is going on with them. I don’t know if [Eloise] is ever going to talk like a typical child. But as a parent, you want what’s best for your children, and you just do it."
