Amber Rose says CJ Stroud is nice enough for giving her a ride, says we 'literally don't know each other' amid dating rumors

HOUSTON, TEXAS: Amber Rose has shut down the speculation that she is dating NFL rookie CJ Stroud.

The model explained that they only met at a charity softball game and he offered her a lift to her hotel.

The rumor started when Rose, 40, and the Houston Texans quarterback, 22, were seen leaving the Cactus Jack charity game together on Friday, February 16.

The game, which was held at Houston’s Minute Maid Park, was organized by Travis Scott’s nonprofit and featured celebrities such as Teyana Taylor, Anthony Mackie and Josie Canseco.

'The Neighborhood Talk', an Instagram account, posted a video of Rose and Stroud walking side by side, with Rose in front of Stroud.

Rose took to her Instagram Story to clear the air and said that they were not dating. “We literally don’t know each other and only met yesterday at a softball game,” she wrote, adding “The sprinter [van] left me and he was nice enough to give me a ride to my hotel.” She added, “Thx again @cj7stroud.”

Stroud has not commented on the rumor.

Amber Rose’s previous relationships and co-parenting

Rose was previously married to rapper Wiz Khalifa from 2011 to 2014. They share a 10-year-old son named Sebastian 'Bash.'

Rose told Us Weekly in October 2020 that they have a good coparenting relationship and put their son’s happiness first. “We’ve always been really good at co-parenting,” she said.

“Even if you technically still have feelings for that person maybe right after the breakup, it’s not about your feelings, it’s not about what they’re doing in their personal life, it’s about the kids. Wiz and I, we talked about that very early on,” she said.

She also revealed that she is close to Khalifa’s girlfriend, Aimee Aguilar. “If I can’t get Wiz on the phone if he’s in studio or something. I always call Aimee and she’ll put me on FaceTime with Sebastian. It’s just cool. You just gotta let all the b******t go and make the kids happy,” she said.

Rose also has a four-year-old son named Slash with Alexander 'AE' Edwards, whom she dated from 2018 to 2021. Edwards, 38, is now dating music legend Cher, who is 77.

Meanwhile, the page that first shared videos and photographs of Amber Rose and CJ Stroud uploaded Roses' Instagram screenshot denying the rumors.

Fans reacted by saying they believed her as one wrote, "I believe her… and it even looks like he pointed to the car he came in Chile." Another added, "He is a man of god! Did his good deed for the day."

One fan joked, "She was helping him with his groceries y’all, nothing to see here." Another added, "Gotta clear up allegations or people gonna just make up their own story, but dang the sprinter just left? That’s messed up."

However, all were not convinced by her clarification as one wrote, "Sooo she was at a softball game by herself but was in a sprinter van? Y’all can believe this bs if y'all want to."
