ROSSVILLE, GEORGIA: Two weeks after the death of her father, country star and 'American Idol' alum Lauren Alaina has resumed her tour with Jason Aldean, bolstered by the support of her family, fans, and numerous well-known friends who have provided assistance both on and off the stage.

On August 6, 2024, 29-year-old Alaina shared an extensive message of thanks on social media, expressing gratitude to all those who offered support and love following the sudden death of her father, Jerry Eugene Suddeth, at the age of 52 on July 23.

In a carousel of photos starting with a warm embrace from Aldean, her longtime friend and current tour mate, Alaina penned, “Thank you. I can’t think of much else to say right now other than thank you. Thank you to everyone who has checked on me and continued to show up for me.”

Heavy reported Alaina was absent from the initial dates of Aldean's tour due to her father's death but has since returned to the lineup, with performances scheduled through September.

In her message, Alaina expressed her gratitude towards Aldean and his wife Brittany, “Thank you to @jasonaldean and @brittanyaldean and your team for treating me like family.”

She also conveyed her thanks to her husband, Cam Arnold, to whom she's been married for less than a year, and to her family, writing, “Thank you to my husband for being the arms that are holding me together all day and all night long."
