Amy Poehler recalled the incident from 2015 when she was honored as Harvard Hasty Pudding Theatricals' Woman of the Year.
As part of the tradition, the event featured a comedic roast, which Poehler had expected.
However, one remark particularly irked her.
Just before taking the stage to give her speech, a student referred to her as the "poor man’s Tina Fey."
Poehler did not hesitate to respond.
"I've gotten this more than once," she admitted, adding, "This kid said it right before I went up... I gave him the finger, which everyone was shocked about."
She went on to describe her reaction, acknowledging that it may not have been the most appropriate response, but she had no regrets.
"I was like, ‘F**k you.’ I was on a dais, but then, f**k Harvard," she said.

Fey laughed in agreement as Poehler jokingly added, "I mean, those f**g a******s, but thank you for inviting me. It was a real honor."
Tina Fey’s take on Hollywood’s side hustle culture
During the podcast, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler also discussed their views on celebrities pursuing side hustles.
Fey expressed her frustration with wealthy stars launching business ventures despite already having significant financial success.
"If you already have like $200 million … I judge it," Fey stated, referencing the increasing trend of actors and musicians starting their own brands.
Poehler, however, encouraged Fey to embrace the entrepreneurial mindset of Gen Z.
She playfully suggested that Fey should launch her own glasses or haircare line, given her signature style.

"[I’m] always pushing you to have a glasses line. Why do you not have a glasses [line]?" Poehler asked.
Fey, known for her sharp wit, humorously responded, "I do kind of hate money. I don’t waste it, but I don’t get excited about it."
As Poehler jokingly shrank down in front of her computer and deadpanned, "Yeah, you mean like a podcast or something?" Fey clarified that she does not consider 'Good Hang' a side hustle, as it still aligns with their creative work.
Instead, Fey criticized celebrities who endorse products that have no connection to their actual expertise or craft, according to Daily Mail.
