Schumer appeared on 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen' on Feburuary 15.
She joked about how she felt when Robbie and Gerwig were left out of the Best Actress and Best Director categories at the 2024 Academy Awards.
“I didn’t get out of my bed for two months,” Schumer said, before adding, “All award shows have major problematic areas.”
She also said that she was not going to protest about the snubs, but that she loved the movie and was proud of Robbie and Gerwig.
"Of all the things going on right now, this is not what I'm going to be picketing in the streets about," she said, adding "but I feel the love for that movie," E! News reported.
The film 'Barbie', has received critical acclaims and several nominations, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.
However, many fans and critics were disappointed that Robbie and Gerwig were not recognized for their individual achievements.

“Like every other women/person some days I feel confident and good as hell and others I want to put a bag over my head,” she wrote.
“But I feel strong and beautiful and so proud of this tv show I created. Wrote. Starred in and directed," Schumer added.
"Maybe just maybe we can focus on that for a little,” Schumer continued as she referred to her Hulu show 'Life & Beth' which premiered its second season on Friday, February 16.
Amy Schumer was the first to play blonde doll in 'Barbie'
Schumer was first set to play the blonde doll in an earlier version of the film but exited the project in 2017 due to scheduling conflicts.
But last year, the 'Trainwreck' star clarified that it was also due to creative differences.
"They definitely didn't want to do it the way I wanted to do it," she told The Hollywood Reporter in March 2022, adding "the only way I was interested in doing it."
"But there's a new team behind and it looks like it's very feminist and cool," she added on 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen' in June. "So, I will be seeing that movie," she noted.
