LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ana de Armas has opened up about her desire to have children in the near future, as her rumored relationship with Tom Cruise continues to gain attention.

The 37-year-old actress shared that while she wants a family, the decision is not entirely hers.

In an interview with Italy's F Magazine, Ana de Armas revealed her strong desire to start a family soon, while also acknowledging the unpredictable nature of love.

“Yes, I'd like to have children and a family, soon if possible. But it's not just up to me,” Ana said.

She continued, “As we know, love is unpredictable; you never know when true love will arrive. Relationships can't be controlled: life isn't a movie."

The actress also shared her deep emotional instinct toward children, saying, “I felt an immense protective instinct toward children, because they are defenseless and innocent beings who need adults to feel safe.”

On how she’s often perceived, Ana de Armas said that people are frequently caught off guard by her personality.

She also shared her outlook on life, adding, “The important thing for me is that my life is never dull; I want to live every moment to the fullest.”
