NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Ana Navarro did not hold back Thursday as she condemned her one-time friend Pam Bondi during an episode of 'The View.' The discussion came as the hosts analyzed Bondi’s recent testimony before the House Judiciary Committee regarding the Department of Justice’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Navarro, known for her sharp political commentary, expressed shock at Bondi’s conduct, highlighting what she described as a disturbing disregard for victims.

Ana Navarro criticizes Pam Bondi for ignoring Jeffrey Epstein victims

Navarro said one of the most upsetting moments was Bondi’s alleged failure to acknowledge Epstein’s victims, who were seated behind her during the hearing.

“She never looked at them. She never acknowledged that they were there,” Navarro said, emphasizing that the victims had not been contacted by the DOJ despite offering testimony.

“The very least she could have done is turn around and say, you know what? I’m sorry we haven’t contacted you. You can be at the DOJ this afternoon,” Navarro added.

Navarro also slammed Bondi for claiming ignorance of Ghislaine Maxwell’s transfer to a minimum-security prison following a meeting with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blance, noting, “Girl, the Bureau of Prisons works for you!”

From drinking together to ending their friendship

Navarro’s criticism represents a sharp reversal from her previous praise of Bondi. In November 2024, she called Bondi “one of the better picks” by former President Trump.

Speaking on CNN’s 'AC360,' Navarro said, “I know Pam Bondi very well. I will tell you, she is not an ogre. She is not a jerk.”

She had even shared a personal anecdote on The View, saying, “Pam Bondi and I hung out a lot when she was Attorney General of Florida. We drank a lot together. I liked her a lot.”

By October, however, Navarro said she believed Bondi was capitalizing on the attention politically and revealed she had not spoken to her “in a few years.”

Ana Navarro calls Pam Bondi’s actions 'shameful’

On Thursday, Navarro left no doubt about her current view of Bondi.

“But, frankly, I think what she’s doing to the institution of the DOJ and the oversight in Congress is shameful and an embarrassment,” she said.
